Indian Valley Fire Department

The Indian Valley Fire Department provides fire protection and rescue services to residents throughout Indian Valley. The department is made up of dedicated volunteer firefighters and is overseen by a paid part-time Fire Chief.
The department operates four fire stations strategically located throughout the valley in Greenville, Taylorsville, North Arm, and Genesee to ensure timely emergency response across the valley.
Fire protection services are funded through property tax revenues and private donations from the community.
The department is led by three acting Fire Chiefs - Dennie Wright, John Hunter, and Frank Hansen - who oversee operations for all four stations and coordinate emergency response services throughout Indian Valley.
Volunteer firefighters serve from communities across the valley, and the department maintains a mutual aid agreement with the Crescent Mills Fire Department to assist one another when responding to emergency calls.
